If you're new here, then you might be wondering why it says Sky Robert, instead of S.M. McCoy. That's because I write my alien romances under Sky Robert, and my romantasy paranormal books under S.M. McCoy. The separation of names is so that readers can set expectations for what they will get when they read a Sky Robert book, spicy alien romances with world building adventures. Standalone fated mates in an interconnected universe.
While my S.M. McCoy books are usually a slower burn fantasy adventure romance usually trilogies, but I do plan on releasing some standalone stories in the future.
My Medusa retelling is available WIDE now, meaning you can read it on Kobo Plus! Or grab it directly from me to help support the third installment! I'm still saving up money to afford a custom cover for book three!

I just started a new job. You know the boring stuff to help bring in some more income to my family, because my books essentially just cover their own costs. My Sky Roberts books breakeven so I'm a lot more fortunate to say I'm closer to turning my books into a career rather than a hobby, but my Medusa retelling is underwater... bother figuratively and literally (The plot of book one is in the sunken waters of Atlantis) So, I've got a part-time job three days a week to help get my family back on track financially. The other two days, are still very much BOOK DAYS!!!! I will continue writing.
I'm currently writing Her Alien's Captor, for my Sky Robert platform. And I hope to have that finished before school is out for the kids, and then after a trip with the kiddos for summer, I'll be writing more into book three, Reaping Olympus. I'm about 27% of the way through writing it, so my goal is to finish it before the end of this year, and launch it around the same time I usually launch new books for the series.
Yes, I'm a creature of habit. I like to release a book in October, regularly. Though, last year, I launched a book in August instead with Her Alien Delegate.
2026 goal, release three books: The Alien's Chosen (full-length version), Her Alien Captor, and Reaping Olympus. MAYBE, if I'm on fire with my writing this year, then I might be able to finish up some of my other books I've started too, like Riven's Flame my dragon romantasy, or Goblin's Treasure my Labyrinth retelling.
Happy reading, and perhaps you'll find your next favorite read among the featured indie author(s) below!

Hi, I'm Stevie. I'm a mom of two kiddos, and I write fantasy romance, and alien romances. I started with writing a YA vampire romance, and I retired the 3-book series because it wasn't the same kind of style as the rest of my books, and I didn't want those books to be the first impression readers got of my writing. I also wrote a sci-fi fantasy mash up Kingdom of Acatalec, got a traditional contract book deal, but it flopped because I wasn't and still am not that great at marketing things without more control over what I can do with my books. I received my book rights back and will relaunch that book with my indie control after I finish my Medusa Retelling Series.
The Dark Gods Rising is mythology reimagined if you are like me and believe that the "monsters" of myth and legend were hunted by Greek gods because they were different, because they were a threat to their power and rule. Perhaps, the monsters weren't the bad guys after all, and Medusa wasn't the villain myth made her out to be. There is always more than one side to every story.
Dive into a slow-burn romance, fast-paced fantasy adventure with all the political mechanisms of Greek Myth, and the what-ifs from a different point of view.
