Welcome to the fantastical side of romance with magic and myth, ,
Results from the poll on reading spooky reads!
Based on last week's poll, 58% of those who responded said they prefer to read a Spooky/Seasonal Read and those books get pushed to the top of their TBR during the holidays!
And not a single person voted on, I avoid or don't read seasonal books.
The remaining 42% read seasonal or spooky edition books as part of their TBR, but it isn't prioritized, simply when they get around to reading them like the rest of the books.
That's great news, because that means not a single one of you said you don't like to read seasonal themed books!
That's 58 reasons to write a seasonal romance, and 42 reasons that they would still be read even when the season is over.
I'm working on putting together a monster romance that includes seasonal themes, we'll see if I can get it finished in time for the seasons, or if it will simply be available for the next seasonal launch. But, I'll put some time into writing a few holiday specials so that the winter months from November to January are bit more festive.

I've been watching that newest Netflix show called Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
I am more of a k-drama binge watcher, and my patience is tested to wait until the end of September for the episodes to come out. I've been gobbling up each episode as it comes. I love a good slow burn, and a bit of an enemies to lovers vibe.

I've written 7 chapters into Reaping Olympus.
Projects I'm working on right now. Yes, I write multiple projects at the same time, because that's how my brain works. It gets all obsessive about one story for like a few weeks then gets distracted, then goes back to a previous project, and rotates around until it actually finishes something. Heart of Darkness has been in progress for
Happy reading, and perhaps you'll find your next favorite read among the featured indie authors below!

Hi, I'm Stevie. I'm a mom of two kiddos, and I write fantasy romance, and alien romances. I started with writing a YA vampire romance, and I retired the 3-book series because it wasn't the same kind of style as the rest of my books, and I didn't want those books to be the first impression readers got of my writing. I also wrote a sci-fi fantasy mash up Kingdom of Acatalec, got a traditional contract book deal, but it flopped because I wasn't and still am not that great at marketing things without more control over what I can do with my books. I received my book rights back and will relaunch that book with my indie control after I finish my Medusa Retelling Series.
The Dark Gods Rising is mythology reimagined if you are like me and believe that the "monsters" of myth and legend were hunted by Greek gods because they were different, because they were a threat to their power and rule. Perhaps, the monsters weren't the bad guys after all, and Medusa wasn't the villain myth made her out to be. There is always more than one side to every story.
Dive into a slow-burn romance, fast-paced fantasy adventure with all the political mechanisms of Greek Myth, and the what-ifs from a different point of view.
