With less than 2 weeks until launch... I know, I know, didn't we just launch Her Alien Warrior in April, and now Her Alien Insurgent in MAY?!!!

Well, as most of you know... Her Alien Warrior was a spare of the moment addition and not planned for launch before Her Alien Insurgent, it kind of just happened that I got all swept away and wrote that one first.

I wasn't sure I was going to finish Her Alien Insurgent in time! And I hope I was able to give a balance between the political intrigue and adventure of what to expect from the Treasures of Trillume as well as the character focused romance expected of the Necia Warriors Series. There was universe plot reveals for this book that I needed to have happen, but I wanted to really highlight the couple specifically at the same time.

MY STARS! What a time crunch on this one! It's all my fault really, I wrote Her Alien Warrior during the time that I was supposed to be writing Her Alien Insurgent, making this the FASTEST launch I've attempted yet!

I had 50,000 words written and I was like, don't worry about it, I've got most of it written, and then I was like... this isn't what I wanted for this story. Completely scrapped the WHOLE THING. Delete button not necessary, I just trashed the whole document and wrote this version from scratch in TWO MONTHS to make the deadline I set for myself.

I only have so many hours in the day with the kiddos and EVERY hour I had available was used to write this on time.

I always struggle with endings, because is any story really the end, or simply when we let them go for the next adventure?

I hope you enjoy this new addition to the universe! And that you enjoy the action, the adventure, the plot reveals, the spicy feels and get excited for what's to come next!

Yes, you can read Her Alien Insurgent without having read other books, as it is self-contained and you can follow along with everything without having known the past books, but trust me when I say, it will be more enjoyable if you at least read Her Alien Prince first.

There are spoilers for Her Alien Prince in Her Alien Insurgent that can't be avoided due to the interconnectedness of the universe between all of the books.

You've been warned, and there is a glossary and universe plot recap at the beginning that can help you acclimate to the universe if you need a refresher or prefer to just jump into the book without having read the others.

Content Warnings: Her Alien Insurgent contains on-page death, explicit romance scenes, strong language(FMC has a foul mouth, says "f-ck" frequently, but not overwhelmingly), a universe-wide fertility crisis, alien culture immersion of a cannibalistic nature, captivity, manipulation, betrayal, slight exhibitionism/voyeurism, abuse of power, and self-harm/recklessness. All smexytimes are consensual, even the dubious consent of not being fully aware of their actions being reality or dream, is still fully consented as each individual may not realize it's real, but both are consenting and wanting said interaction. The MMC does have a past trauma of losing a mate and a child that he feels responsible for.
