I did a test run of setting up my table stuffage for book pop ups and events. My Table runner is double sided, meaning I can flip it around and it will have my Sky Robert logo instead, so I can use it for whatever event I go to, whether S.M. McCoy is the star or Sky Robert. I also have a large banner for my S.M. McCoy, but with a half table set up, only have enough room for putting up one. I decided I'd put up the Sky Robert banner for my upcoming book pop up in Vancouver WA at The Romance Era Bookshop, because for the Hot And Steamy Bookish event in May, Sky Robert is the star.
I had some stickers made of the bookcovers on sticker sheets so that if people like to make book journals they can easily add the pretty bookcover to their journals.
You can also see my pattern making dress forms behind the banner, unfortunately, I have not done much sewing, draping patterns or making clothing for a while, but I really want to get back into it once I have my author career and narration gigs more consistent and solid. I'm throwing all of my heart into writing and books to really make this my now and my future.
But I've been going through some personal mental health issues lately, and it's been very difficult for me to keep my focus and motivation. And one of those mishaps is that I did not order my book stock replenish in time for the books to arrive before my book pop up event.
I think I under planned for the book pop up this weekend, because I thought I had at least 10 copies of Taking Medusa available to bring with me, but come to find out, I think I already shipped those out for giveaways, and now I'm hoping that perhaps if more people want to grab Taking Medusa than what I have available, they can preorder, and I can deliver them to the Bookshop later for pickup.
My new shipment of books doesn't arrive until Wednesday next week and the book pop up is Saturday.
