Welcome to the smuttier side of romance, , with alien peens and the readers who love them!
Let's talk about Aliens!
More specifically below the v cut.
I feel like Her Alien Insurgent hasn't quite got the amount of love that I was expecting from the latest installment in the Trillume Universe, and I'm baffled as to how it hasn't reached 50 readers yet, sitting at 34 reviews on Amazon.
Let's just take a moment to appreciate an estreld's fancy peen for a moment here. Did you know male estreld's mating loh, that's what they call it, is actually more like a forming resin that hardens once they find a compatible mate?
This is actually one of the reasons why the planet is having a fertility crisis, because until a male estreld finds a compatible mate their peen is basically useless, unless they've mastered how to manipulate their loh temporarily.
WHEN they do find a compatible mate their mating loh heats up, and forms to their mate's preferred form for maximum pleasure, and in the case of female estrelds increasing the likelihood of their own fertility by triggering the dropping of their eggs.
Their mating loh are then permanently shaped by their mate, and male estrelds that lose a mate, keep that shape unless they find their fated mate, a mate who is more compatible than the mate before to trigger a reforming of their mating loh.
You can enjoy finding out more about an estreld mate in Her Alien Insurgent.
And though the book is MORE enjoyable after having read Her Alien Prince, as events in the book happen after those events, you CAN read Her Alien Insurgent without having read any previous books. It is a standalone. I've even made sure that there are very few spoilers in the book related to Her Alien Prince, the spoilers that are in the book, are pretty obvious ones like that Mabel ends up with Trent.
I mean, the blurb alone would spoil who the main characters are, and as Trent is the prince of Krelis, it's basically in the title, Her Alien Prince, you can already assume that with Mabel being his mate that she would then also be considered a queen of the hive by being his mate. Those spoilers don't spoil the actual plot twists and the journey both Mable and Trent must go through in Her Alien Prince, there are still plenty of surprises, and enjoyable spicy scenes you won't want to miss!
