Before we get into book updates about Her Alien Insurgent after 1 week of launch, I need your help with stickers!
I have an addiction to making a sticker or some kind of swag to add to any orders from my author store to include with signed paperbacks and such. And I was trying to think of what could be a fun sticker to add for Her Alien Insurgent. And I thought... Maybe Sentient Kindle vibes with an estreld peen?
But what kind of text would people want on it?
Do we like having a peen on the kindle? Do we like a different kind of saying on it? Or perhaps an entirely different idea? Would people rather have a bookmark of an estreld cock instead of stickers? I'm bad with swag and need your help.
Thoughts on swag?
If you've been on previous ARC teams, then you know that I like to give a few data updates, and share my author journey along the way, and this marks the 1 week update, and there will be a final 1 month update next month.
Then the current ARC team will be closed out, and you can expect to see another "OPT-IN" email for the next available ARC. You don't have to reapply for the team, just a simple "Yes, I'm In" reply to an email when the ARC notification is sent.

That team is not for spicy fast burn or instalust. It's for fantasy romances with a slow-burn romance, and the fun adventure plot twists I enjoy writing. Will there be spice? Yes, but you won't find the spice in book one Taking Medusa (maximum spice is kissing in that one. There wasn't really a lot of opportunity for her to clap cloisters, clam slam, or the like with the plot she was thrown into.)

This is the highest star average I've ever had! That's 37 readers with 5-stars out of the 42 who have read so far! That's unbelievable and I'm so tickled with happiness that you are enjoying the book!
We've got 23 ratings on Amazon US with a 4.8 star average, 5 readers in Canada, and 1 in AU!

I like to make achievable author milestone goals to keep me excited and help stave off imposter syndrome.
One of those milestones I wanted to reach was being able to launch a book and reach 50+ reviews on Amazon within launch month, then launch week, then launch day.
Another Author Milestone is being able to reach launch cost breakeven within a month of launch, then a week of launch, then on launch day, and then breakeven on launch costs with preorder interest so we launch being covered and be able to finally have a book that pays me a wage like a for realsies job!
Where are we with Her Alien Insurgent reaching these goals?

If continued at the current rate of daily reads, it's projected Her Alien Insurgent will break even in 5 months from now. Which is faster than Her Alien Prince's break even, but slower than Her Alien Warrior's breakeven.
This shows a higher interest in the Necia Warriors over the Treasures of Trillume series, so I'll be pivoting writing goals towards finishing up Her Alien Captor book three of the Necia Warrior series before returning back to Treasures of Trillume's universe plot.
Us indie authors have only reviews and copies picked up or pages read as an indicator of interest levels, and we use those to decide where to put our time and energy into next.
Because of the success of the Necia Warriors breaking even, I've been able to schedule NSFW art for General Sou-el in June! And I even invested the profit on Her Alien Savior back into the book, returning back to breakeven by hiring a new round of edits by Tracy at Amaze Inn Proofreading, LLC.
Her Alien Savior has had its ebook updated with new edits for a more enjoyable read for new and old readers alike! I'll be using Amaze Inn Proofreading for edits on the next book as well, and I hope that this switch will improve the reading experience for all future books!
