To the stars and beyond- Loving Memory

Hi , welcome back to my author newsletter with alien peens, monsters, magic, and the readers who love them!

I had such good intentions to do a writing marathon last weekend, but family matters took over. I've had a loss in the family and it's only until now that I've even had a chance to get on the computer to send out an update to you. It will be brief. I've been helping my mom with arrangements, and just being around to keep her company. She's always been my best friend, and losing her dad, my grandfather, is a tough loss. She's spent the last 8 years taking care of him and there will be lulls in time that would have been otherwise occupied with helping him that will now be hard to know what to do without thinking of him.

For me at least, I can forget sometimes that he's gone, because on a day-to-day I can distract myself with other things. It will be the moments that I would normally reach out to hang out with him that will be the hardest. On the other days, I've still got to be a mom and continue to do the thing of living. To the stars and beyond, my papa (grandfather) will live on in my memories and that of many others that shared laughs and hugs with him.

If only we had alien technology like in my books, and the human life would be so much longer, and healthier. Until then, we can imagine such a universe with sexy warriors that want nothing more than to see their mate's happiness.
