I'll keep this newsletter short. A reminder that Hot and Steamy is coming up June 12th and I'm so excited to see everyone! I've got new swag! Including cute little book earrings with Taking Medusa on them, and fancy bookmarks with a little book charm on the end.
Can't wait to show them to you!!
The charity anthology for my short story with Hot and Steamy, The Alien's Chosen is now available! It released on April 9th and can be read immediately while also helping to support the Humane Society!
You can check out it out here:
If you're new here, then you might be wondering why it says Sky Robert, instead of S.M. McCoy. That's because I write my alien romances under Sky Robert, and my romantasy paranormal books under S.M. McCoy. The separation of names is so that readers can set expectations for what they will get when they read a Sky Robert book, spicy alien romances with world building adventures. Standalone fated mates in an interconnected universe.
While my S.M. McCoy books are usually a slower burn fantasy adventure romance usually trilogies, but I do plan on releasing some standalone stories in the future.
My Medusa retelling is available WIDE now, meaning you can read it on Kobo Plus! Or grab it directly from me to help support the third installment! I'm still saving up money to afford a custom cover for book three!

My last email I told you all I got a new job, and it's been going well. Unfortunately, it has delayed my writing progress, but it's to be expected with any changes. I have to recalibrate my brain and force myself to not get stuck.
I plan on dedicating Fridays to writing no matter what. Having ADHD does make it difficult for me to start tasks even if I really want to do them. But I've powered through and completed over 10 books despite that. I will keep plugging along. And I'm excited for Hot and Steamy PNW coming up June 12th. Hope to see you there!
Happy reading, and perhaps you'll find your next favorite read among the featured indie author(s) below!

Hi, I'm Stevie. I'm a mom of two kiddos, and I write fantasy romance, and alien romances. I started with writing a YA vampire romance, and I retired the 3-book series because it wasn't the same kind of style as the rest of my books, and I didn't want those books to be the first impression readers got of my writing. I also wrote a sci-fi fantasy mash up Kingdom of Acatalec, got a traditional contract book deal, but it flopped because I wasn't and still am not that great at marketing things without more control over what I can do with my books. I received my book rights back and will relaunch that book with my indie control after I finish my Medusa Retelling Series.
The Dark Gods Rising is mythology reimagined if you are like me and believe that the "monsters" of myth and legend were hunted by Greek gods because they were different, because they were a threat to their power and rule. Perhaps, the monsters weren't the bad guys after all, and Medusa wasn't the villain myth made her out to be. There is always more than one side to every story.
Dive into a slow-burn romance, fast-paced fantasy adventure with all the political mechanisms of Greek Myth, and the what-ifs from a different point of view.
