Hey ,
Welcome again to the smuttier side of romance with monster love, and alien fated mates.
As always, I try to find a few more alien/monster romances you may like, I list them after my newsletter rants. I found a cyberpunk spicy read on Kindle Unlimited, and it's also adapted to audiobook! Today's rant is on paperbacks.
I'm not particularly fond of formatting for books, but I wanted to make something special for those that like paperbacks, and then I realized... I don't even know if people buy paperbacks for spicy reads anymore. I mean, to be honest, I usually only buy a paperback if I've already enjoyed reading the book on e-book and then it sits pretty on my shelf as a pleasant reminder of our time together. Do you do that? I consider my bookshelf more of a display of my conquests, instead of a TBR queue.
Do you like paperbacks?
Do you listen to audiobooks?
How do you consume your spicy reads?
I ask because I add these extras for people like you, V.I.P.s who are on my newsletter, and I was considering adapting Jewel of the Alien Bandit to Audiobook as well as paperback.
The paperback is already finished up:
The back of the book looks a little blurry for the font in this picture, but I'm pretty sure when it prints it'll look different, but that's what the proof is for. I'll have it looking stellar before sending it off into the wild.
I'm still delaying on pressing that "publish" button on it until all the ARC readers get through potentially pointing out any errors that got past the editing phase.
But here's a sneak peek at the interior! I ordered a proof the other day to make sure that the fun chapter pages don't bleed and make reading the pages difficult, but I think it will turn out nicely.
I have the book set up on my PayHip Store for pre-ordering the signed copy of the book when it's officially launched on paperback.
But again, I'm unsure whether there are many people who like to grab their alien romances in paperback or not.
So, you tell me. Do you like to have paperback of your spicier romances, or do you like to squirrel your obsession away into your e-reader?
If you like audiobooks, please let me know.
I want to know the interest level in having alien smut adapted to audiobook... I mean you'd have to have your earphones plugged in if you have kiddos like I do. Since the book is both POVs, it would go back and forth between me narrating and a sexy male narrator. I didn't put sexy in front my own narration because well, I guess I'll try to sound sexy during the naughty parts. haha.
I've already finished recording through chapter 7, and have a male narrator started on his chapters. Stay tuned, and I'll give you all a sneak listen at this in another newsletter! I'll reveal who I chose to narrate Vareo, and include a sample listen!
I'd like to take a moment to also say thank you to everyone who has pre-ordered Jewel of the Alien Bandit on Amazon, it means a lot to me! If you haven't already, and want to, the spicy romance is on sale for 99 pennies for pre-order. So, if you want to help support the Trillume Universe then now's the time to be a verified purchase on Amazon before it goes live and the price goes up to $3.99. And if you're anticipating the audiobook adaptation, now's the time to lock in that discount price so the Audible upgrade is cheaper.
So excited to have the first review back from ARC readers!
I thank you from all the spacy curves of my heart for supporting the Trillume Universe by becoming a verified Amazon purchase!
If you're a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, mark your calendars for January 31st, so we can blow up the algorithms and make the start of the Trillume Galaxy a success by reading your pages right away!

Excerpt from Jewel of the Alien Bandit:
“He’s chosen her, I’m so jealous.”
I grumbled. “He’s just an insect.”
She giggled. “No, not him. Loric. He’s chosen Luan to be his mate this cycle.”
“Yes, I already knew that.” He’d told me as much when we spoke, and then I looked up to see who he was standing in front of. My silver beauty.
Luan.
Of course we’d be going after the same mate. Mate, that word felt strange to say, but right when I referred to her. So what if this ridiculous ceremony was meant to help the estrelds repopulate their species; while I was here… she was mine. What she did when I was gone, was her business, but even that thought irritated me.
Her bedding with that krelis, or even my frenemy Loric was out of the question.
Loric was glowing an obnoxious blue, and he seemed to pulse in her presence, making me grind my teeth watching him. Her cheeks were blushing a sweet pink, and it was for... a man that wasn’t me.
She removed a ring from her thumb, and placed it on his finger as she bit down on her lower lip.
They may have won the round, but the games weren’t over yet, and I had plenty of tarnpul to join the dance.
“Aren’t they perfect?” The girl was still clinging to my arm.
Then the host chimed in, “It looks like this cycle’s moon ceremony is shaping up to be one for the history books. May the moon bless us all. For every offering you will have the opportunity for one on one time before the dance, so hand out those tarnpuls quickly!”
“Oh, excuse me.” The girl on my arm released me, but left behind a necklace she tied around my wrist. “See you soon.” Her curvy hips swayed through the crowd, and I didn’t have much time to introduce myself.
“So this is Luan,” I interrupted Loric’s moment. I was a shitty wingman, not that I wanted to cock block him specifically, just from her. “You are more fierce than the rays of a Trillus sun. May the moons give many blessings upon your mating.” I took her hand into my own and bent down to kiss her fingers, carefully slipping off one of her rings as I withdrew. When I lifted my gaze there was that fire in her silver eyes once more.
“I have not agreed to mate with anyone yet,” she objected, and I smiled back at her, pleased to hear that.
Don't worry, I'll still be here until you return.
