I not so secretly laugh when someone says

Welcome to the smuttier side of romance, , with alien peens and the readers who love them!

I not so secretly laugh when someone says ...

That I hate my characters. Let the evil laughter commence. Buwahahaha! 😈

Recently, in fact, I got a review that said I hate people even the characters I create. They are all f-cked up. They did use the language f-d up in their review.

I'm not saying this to bring attention to them as a reviewer, or to say they are wrong, or to bash them for their opinions. In their mind, I'm the evil mastermind that hates all life. That's okay. To be fair they did not finish the book before they reviewed so they couldn't have known that my books always have a HEAFN.

But, it is true that I love books and characters that have flaws and must overcome together and find that special alien that is perfect for them. So, they do have to go through obstacles both internally and externally to reach love within a sci-fi adventure.

Take Her Alien Warrior for instance: our FMC is a later in life, 46 year old mom, whose kids are grown and she's leaving her husband to go on an alien research ship to figure out her life. Her husband is a kind person and they part amicably because he just wants her to be happy. It's a bit taboo that I don't have her already divorced, but they are separated, and she is being honest about things.

Our MMC has had a rough past because of being born with a disease within his tribe that makes him age faster, unable to heal wounds well, and overall need medicine to survive this physical difficulty. Though he couldn't be a warrior within his tribe he is still honored and rose the ranks through being a scientist instead. But not being a warrior in a warrior tribe has made it so he doesn't believe he would ever have a mate.

Then he meets Renee our FMC and he finally experiences rut and sees a future of honoring more than his tribe but a mate! Necia warriors worship their mates and he would follow her anywhere even back to Earth if that's what she would want.

You can read their story and decide for yourself if I hate my characters or people in general by checking out Her Alien Warrior, available in Kindle Unlimited.

My writing:

I finished book two Breaking Fate and it is off to Tracy, my editor! I brought my Alpha Smart Neo 2 with me on vacation to continue writing book three.

The name is Reaping Olympus

I thought about wrapping it up to just be a duology, but I couldn't bring myself to chop it up like that.

So, yes. VICTORY. We are on to book three!!

Despite the series not being as popular as my alien romances, I want to see the story to the ending I envisioned when I started. I'm hoping that after it's completed more readers will take a chance on it.

You can read book one Taking Medusa in Kindle Unlimited or Listen on Audible! It's a fantasy romance with adventure, romance, and of course the schemes of the gods, prophecy, and magic. This is a slow-burn romance, so unlike my alien romances, there is a wait for spice that's why I have it under my S.M. McCoy name instead of Sky Robert. Setting expectations and all that. Taking Medusa won the Romantasy award for N.N. Light Book Awards, 1st place in romantasy for Paranormal Romance Guild's Reviewer's Choice Awards, and I'm SOooo close to finishing up book two, once I receive Breaking Fate is back from edits then I'll do another sweep and off to early readers!! Happy Reading: https://books.steviemarie.com/takingmedusa

This is the place in my newsletter where you can check up on my word count/progress on any given project. So, if you're excited about something and where I'm at with it, or what's next on the writing agenda, this is the place to check. I don't post this anywhere else but on my newsletter. Not even my website has a progress update zone.

TKManAteHer is on Amazon and Audible! A short erotic sentient robot romance, to be enjoyed in around an hour. Perfect for a quick escape that won't interrupt your beauty sleep if you start at bedtime!

It is a complete story, no cliffhangers, 2.5 spicy scenes, and a romance that defies time itself.

It's available for 99 pennies on Amazon, or from my author store:

Amazon: https://books.steviemarie.com/tk

Author Store: https://payhip.com/b/XgOuk

Also available on Audible! https://www.audible.com/ac/TKManAteHer-Audiobook/B0D5GC1ZDK

When you grab the book direct, more pennies are kept with the author. For every 99 penny book, an indie makes around 35 cents from Amazon.

Direct, I get around 50 cents depending on if you use Stripe or Paypal as your payment method through my author store. That's 40% more pennies in the author's pocket by grabbing direct!

Dragon's Oath: is the next freebie I'm working on to give to everyone on the newsletter! It's a darker alien dragon romance, but with plenty of humorous banter to help take the dark edge off and of course, lovely spice with plot as usual. This will be a series; I have 3 covers picked up to explore this idea with!

Word Count: 2,379/50K

Goblin's Treasure: is a darker fae romantasy about being abducted into the Goblin Kingdom with Labyrinth feels but older and spicier. So, if you ever rewatched Labyrinth and wished the Goblin King had asked you give yourself to him and he would be your slave vibes, then this one is for all you monster fudgers that would have said, "yes" to the goblins.

Word Count: 14,209/90K goal to complete by November 2024

Her Alien Starbreaker My goal is to have this completed before end of September 2024 for an anthology. Best of all, the personal cover for the book is commissioned by Deborah Garcia! So, this is the first cover I have made from commissioned artwork instead of cover designers! (Note: I make sure all my covers are done by designers that do NOT support A.I., No A.I. is used for my covers, nor my writing. I R hooman.)

This book will first be included in the Anthology along with 7 other spicy out of this world romances for 99 pennies, available for a limited time.

Word Count: 21,684/50K goal

This book will be included in the upcoming anthology Beyond Earth available for pre-order for only 99 pennies and you also get 7 other complete sci-fi romances from awesome indie authors!
