Alien Lovers UNITE, ,
Welcome to the smuttier side of romance books with alien peens and the mates that love them.
Still sick today... swabbed my nose. It's not Covid. But I thought I would drop on by and excitedly say that Her Alien Prince has reached 60 ratings/reviews on the zon! And Jewel of the Alien Bandit is at 61! OMG, it's 1 review away from being tied with book one!
You know there is this whole formula for indies for how many readers continue reading the next book in a series?
That's right, if any of you are indies, perhaps you've heard of the 0-1k book launch? Well, in the part of the course where they want you to know your numbers, it is estimated that only 60% of the people who read book one will read book two, and then only 60% of that will read on to book three, and then 80% of those will read book four, 80% of that will read book five. So on and so forth. It is expected that there is a drop off of readership for sequential books.
YOU, you beautiful alien smut lovers, proved that worksheet WRONG!
I have MORE people reading Her Alien Prince than I do reading book one Jewel of the Alien Bandit!
The book launched on May 1st and in 10 days Her Alien Prince has had a whooping:
17,473 pages read in KU in 10 days!
We still have 21 more days in this month!
And Jewel of the Alien Bandit in its first ENTIRE month of February:
12,588 pages read in KU in all of FEBRUARY
In the last 10 days Jewel of the Alien Bandit had:
4,814 pages read in KU
Okay, so some of you may not be hard for data like I am, but this is amazeballs for a new platform with absolutely no reach before starting in January of this year! That's right, I finished writing Her Alien Exchange the freebie for joining this newsletter in NANOWRIMO, November of 2022. Had it polished up and started building this newsletter in late December, Finished writing Jewel of the Alien Bandit in 2021, but set it aside and put it up for pre-order at the end of November 2022 for a January 31st release.
I wrote Her Alien Prince in January, finished writing it in March! And the quick turnaround of writing this book was all thanks to your support and enthusiasm. THIS is the power of shaking our asses, and encouraging an author with your kind words, and loving reviews!
Literally, I went from no audience in December to this smathering of eggplant support in a few short months.
THANK YOU from the darkest corners of my bleeding heart!
Based on these numbers, I can guestimate that I gain around 4 new readers a day reading my books in KU, possibly more, but I'm being conservative.
And in order to shove it where the sun don't shine to those who doubted I could make a living being a writer, which I project I can accomplish by the end of the year! I would need an average of 25 new readers a day.
How fun is that! I went from zero readers in January, to around 1 new reader a day in February, and 4 new readers a day in May. Modestly, if the trajectory continues, I would be at around 12 new readers a day by the end of the year, and possibly with little boosts with each book launch, so it's within reason to think I can make it to 25 new readers a day by the end of the year!
And it's all thanks to you!
Here are some of the newest reviews for Her Alien Prince!
I even got my very first poor review of a 2 star and even that review said I had wonderful world building, so I consider it a win, since you can't please everyone! To have fans you will also have haters. Trying to please everyone means you please no one! And I have to read my books so many times, that I have to enjoy them to keep reading them haha.
Sooooo, if you haven't read Her Alien Prince yet, please do add it to your TBR and dive in! It's a standalone, so you don't have to read book one to enjoy it, and if anything many have said they enjoyed reading book two first and then going back to book one!
Here are some tropes:
Knotting
Primal play (cave chase)
Horns and wings
Dark Alien Prince x Strong Alien Scientist FMC
MMC with Non-human Anatomy
Fated Mates
Mind link/mind connection
Conspiracy / Political intrigue
Forbidden romance
Possessive MMC
Some scenes of OW and OM
He calls her "My Queen"
Miscommunication
Size difference
Eeep, and also, PNR Guild reviewed Her Alien Prince giving it a 4-star! Saying:
"This book is chock full of surprises, secrets, betrayals, romance, and sex. I was really surprised by some of the secrets revealed and all the wheeling dealing that went on so I had to keep glued to each page for fear I would miss something.
If you love sci-fi then don’t miss this series and although each book is stand-alone, I highly recommend beginning with book one."
And Squeeeallllll, if any of you know the DaR series of sci-fi romances! Jennifer read my books! I absolutely love her series! I read book 7 first, then went back, read book 1-3, I'm on book 4 now! She reviewed Her Alien Prince giving a 5-star! I'm so honored to have been read and enjoyed by someone with 25 books out, and nearly 2,000 reviews on her DaR book!
On to book 4!
You can check out the series here! Darverius, House of DaR (8 book series) Kindle Edition (amazon.com) She just recently released book 8, and this new release made it to #1 in her category on her launch week, and is STILL sitting in the top 10 today in Alien Invasion Sci-fi books!
OKAY, author basics!

"I love a good alien romance and this was right up there. I loved how the characters came together and the way the store played out was great! I loved how the ending played out too. Alien romances are my favorite genre or romance as of recently and this is going to be added to my “favorites” list. Good work!" - 5-star review from Veronica
"Love this series. This story has all the feels. All the interactions between the main characters kept me turning the pages. I want more in this world." 5-star review from Gale
