Personal Update and COUNTDOWN to Alien Peen!

Welcome to the smuttier side of romance, , with alien peens and the readers who love them!

I need glasses... again.

I say again, because I had glasses when I was a kid, but got lasik in my 20's, and that corrected things for a long time.

Recently, I've been getting a lot more headaches, and eyestrain, and overall having trouble with my vision. That could account for some of the typos that I missed in my own read throughs of my books recently.

Come to find out, I'm in my thirties and my eye doctor informed me that, yes I do need glasses again, but also... I have cataracts in my left eye and no amount of eyeglasses are going to get me back to 20/20 vision on that eye. Hence the eye-strain. 30's and cataracts already! Uuugh!

The glasses will help, and my vision has to get a lot worse before I can do surgery for cataracts, but it's likely I will have lots of fun eye surgeries in my future, and by future I mean by the time I'm 50, including future torn retinas because of how thin they are due to the shape of my eyes being longer. 50 is super young to be getting eye surgeries, but alas, I must start pinching my pennies in a jar for a saving my eyes fund.

Just a fun little update, and a HUGE thank you to Holly for editing, and everyone on the ARC team who helped spot typos and helped me clean up the file for launch this coming Tuesday!

It will take a few weeks for my glasses to come in, so I'm looking forward to that! And even though my eyes are destined for extra love, this will not affect my writing schedules.

Can't stop, won't stop, writing.

It's likely, in the future, I will have to experiment with voice to text software and relying more heavily on an editor to help me with more than just one round of editing. Rest assured, I want to give readers the best experience, and I value not being taken out of a story due to silly errors.

In other personal news, my daughter went to Home Depot with my mom today to make me something for mother's day, which is cute. She already told me what it was, because she's horrible at keeping secrets for surprises, just like her mama. It's a flower picture frame! <3 I'm going to pretend I didn't find out next week when she finally gives it to me, haha.

Her Alien Insurgent is HAPPENING!!

Her Alien Insurgent is in the hands of ARC readers, and I'm chomping at the stars to know what everyone's thoughts are on the book.

There are spoilers for Her Alien Prince in Her Alien Insurgent that can't be avoided due to the interconnectedness of the universe between all of the books. Despite the spoilers the book is still written like a standalone and can be read as such.

You've been warned, and there is a glossary and universe plot recap at the beginning that can help you acclimate to the universe if you need a refresher or prefer to just jump into the book without having read the others.
