My Sendfox (my email newsletter sender) shows you as not having opened any emails from me for over 6 months, but that isn't always accurate information. Little web spiders can be blocked by your email provider and that can prevent my email provider from knowing if you've been enjoying my newsletter or not.
Who am I? Hopefully, you know this, but just in case my email has been gobbled up lately. I'm Stevie, or Sky if you read my alien romances. I'm an indie author that you might have discovered from a giveaway like BookSweeps, Bookfunnel, C.L. Cannon's Fiction Atlas giveaways, or others.
It's highly likely you found my book Her Alien Exchange and grabbed it for freesies to check out my writing and that's how you ended up on my newsletter to get to know me better. If you missed the free book, feel free to visit my website and click the link to grab the book from bookfunnel.
But, you're receiving this email because I'm cleaning up my newsletter from bounces, and non opens, which can reduce the receipt of my emails to other people. Low open rates, and high bounce rates, can make my emails seem like spam, when they are not. I do not add people to my newsletter, and I do not force people to stay if they are not enjoying it. Everyone on my newsletter joins voluntarily from joining a book giveaway that I helped support, or grabbed my free book Her Alien Exchange.
And with over 3,000 emails showing not opening emails for over 6 months, that can really hurt a small-time indie author like me from being shown to other active readers who want to hear from me. But that doesn't mean I want to just delete emails all willy nilly. If you are receiving these emails and do want to hear from me, I do not want to lose you as part of my spaceship into alien romance!
