Her Alien Warrior Paperback is Live for reviews!

Welcome to the smuttier side of romance with alien peens and the readers who love them!

Happy Sunday, !

The first edition of the Her Alien Warrior paperback is live on Amazon, meaning that if you are choosing to review on Amazon, you can add it to the paperback edition at any time! These reviews are seen on the attached ebook edition, and are less likely to be removed due to review bots.

If you happen to spot any errors/typos in your ARC copy, please do email me, because I can still update my files and make the second edition better than the last. Please have any typos/errors emailed to me before March 20th, 2024.

With permission, Michal and LaWanda said I could include them in my Book Heroes page, and.... drum roll their reviews are included on the back blurb for the first edition! Thank you so much for being part of my team!

And I spent some time to make cute stickers "I eat my veggies" and artwork for special bookmarks for my signed paperbacks from my author store! (Author Store: https://payhip.com/b/1F8ZW) I've been trying to improve my digital artwork skills, hope everyone likes them!

Review Disclaimer/Reminders: Being part of my team is not contingent on reviews, nor should you feel pressured to do so. There are many ways to support indie authors other than reviews (though they do help!) being part of this team and receiving an ARC are not in exchange for reviews.

How to support indies without a review?

Know of more ways to share that I haven't included? Email me and I'll add it to my list to give the group more ideas!

Reviews 3-stars or Lower:

If you happen to not like the book, that is okay, you don't have to continue reading it, just let me know it wasn't for you. If your rating is less than average, please be courteous and wait for some more reviews to come in to help balance the ratings and have a more accurate reflection of average reader enjoyment. One single negative review can impact an indie greatly in the very beginning. Two 5 stars and one 2 star makes a 3-star average. Be honest with your ratings, but please give the book a chance before adding anything 3 star or below for launch week. I appreciate your understanding and your support!

Not every book is for everyone, and for some it hits oh so good and for others it won't.

Nerdy monologue about averages used for the rating systems:

Averages tend to be more accurate with the more readers that rate and review the book, like any good researcher knows, your sample pool should be large enough to gain insightful glimpses into any set of data. The fact that averages aren't all that accurate of enjoyment is because there are outliers in any data set that skew the results. In a smaller sample set it is easy for a single outlier to have a greater impact on averages, which is why many data scientists have the saying there are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics. (Twain 2010) Averages in the scientific world are often biased, and often lead to incorrect assumptions. Averages are meant for measurements across a diverse group of "samples" not just a single sample grouping, but unfortunately the rating system is what it is, and until the sample size is large enough to be a more accurate reflection on enjoyment levels, us indies must suffer through the consequences of the perception we receive from book ratings/reviews. Of which, we must deal with the misrepresentation of many readers' perception of a book being bad if it is below a 4-star average despite the fact that many avid readers believe a 3-star means average enjoyment.

I'll put my nerd hat away for now.

Also, I am a hoooman, and you are more than welcome to message me anytime. I received everyone's message about joining the team from cute funny "Yes to the Alien peens!" and more. They all made me smile. It would have taken me a while to go through and reply to each individual "Yes, I'm in" email, but know I reply to EVERY email sent to me outside of the opt-in replies. So, feel free to message me anytime!
