Speaking of MEDUSA!
I always found it fascinating that the myth of Medusa spoke of how gazing into her eyes turned you to stone... when if that were true then how did anyone know what they looked like? Other than the back of their head, right? Plus, also equal brain fodder is that gorgons are said to not just have snakes for hair, but also have golden wings and golden claws, and yet they are monsters?
Sounds like they are angelic to me, unless of course your whole purpose of seeking them out is to murder them for some kind of proof of your heroic valor? Well, then I can see why they are considered monsters if the majority of people who see them try to kill them.
That's why in Taking Medusa she is brought back from the brink of death and doesn't even know she's Medusa, because if we think about most of the monsters from Greek Mythology... didn't they have the same kind of lineage of gods and creators as the Olympians themselves? So, I guess that makes them the gods as well, but outcast from the Olympians. Framed as the monsters, the ones they send heroes after to defeat and vanquish.
Medusa is a goddess, as are all the rest of the monsters of myth and legend.
And Taking Medusa is a whole new perspective on Greek mythology from the monster's point of view. A romantasy of monsters and gods, and Medusa is at the center of it all.

She's a new artist on the town, and she slipped into my DMs and I just happened to have a weakness for art... and one day... one day I really, really want people to send me fan art, because mouth water... love it!

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about Commander Vox Direl from Her Alien Savior! As some say, the best laid plans, etc, etc. I must admit that launching Taking Medusa has taken a chunk of time out of launching Her Alien Savior.
I'm only one person, and I blame the cover artist Taurus Colosseum (He is the cover artist for Her Alien Exchange, Her Alien Savior, and Her Alien Prince ... as well as a secret alternate book cover for Jewel of the Alien Bandit to come in the future...) and he posted this pre-made of Medusa... and well, it fit so perfectly for a story I was planning on launching LATER, and he made an adjustment of adding the tentacles and water element and I was like... damn it... I'm launching this book now, I'm too excited by this cover not to push this book out this year.
The rest is history. Launching Taking Medusa has delayed Her Alien Savior's progress on launching and pushing into ARC phase. The book will still release as planned for August, but the ARC phase is pushing it pretty close to launch date because of splitting my time with Taking Medusa's launch, and of course because the characters got away from me, and the story ended up being longer than anticipated.
But as always, the necia warriors will have some lovely spicy times, exhibitionism, fated mates, knotting peen, world building adventure, and I've made sure to have some sweet character vulnerability moments in there, found family, nursing to health, alpha alien mate with consent, alien culture, and an overarching plot that entwines with the rest of the series, but is still standalone.
Jump into the Treasures of Trillume universe at any book, but enjoy how each book layers on each other making each subsequent book even BETTER! Go back and read the other books, or read in order, whichever way you want!
