Welcome to the smuttier side of romance with alien bits that vibrate and the mates that love them.
Sooooo, sometimes I get all crafty and I saw this Instagram reel of mini books, and I was like I AM GOING TO MAKE SOME! With that exact enthusiasm.
This was my arts and crafts project!
I used Canva to make the images to print out, sent the printable PDF to Staples for printing, ended up being under $2.00 to print a sheet.
2.7X1.8 approx, because I just eyeballed it and then used the duplicate to fill the page. Then I got some printer paper, and folded it length wise into 5 sections evenly. Then cut, then folded it back and forth the size of inside the book cover. Then pages one section to the other to continue the little accordion train.
Next, I pasted the back together and glued it into the bookcover for a mini notebook that's technically useable.
For size comparison, this is my crafty mini book with the actual 5X8 paperback.
Now, I was thinking of adding a little ribbon to it for utility, but AFTER I had fun making the mini book, I was like... UH... so, if I give these to people who ordered the signed paperback... What exactly are they going to do with them?
Is it just a momentary cuteness moment, or will people stash them in their purses/pockets and use it for notes? Or perhaps a little log of information of some sort? Use it as a Christmas ornament? Pin it to their wall as decoration?
I have no idea. So, you tell me? Do you want a mini book with your paperback? What would you do with it? Is it just for the satisfaction of having something tiny and cute to look at?
