Hi ! โค๏ธ
I'm still smiling from Chocolate Town Book Fest last Saturday. What a wonderful day!
I met so many fantastic readers, got to catch up with readers I've met at other events, and spent the day surrounded by authors who have become old friends. I also met some new authors who I'm pretty sure are going to become old friends too.
One of those new friends is DC Phillips, who writes Southern Gothic Horror and hails from Georgia. (Check out his books on Amazon.) We hit it off right away, and we've been chatting on the socials already.
And then there was a very fun little celebrity moment. ๐ซ Romance author Lucy Score stopped in to support her sister, Madison Score, and I actually got to wish Lucy congratulations on her recent wedding. How cool is that? ๐
Best of all, readers kept my table busy. I almost completely sold out of Bright Girl and The Haunting of Ivy May! I'm so grateful to everyone who stopped by, bought a book, said hello, or just came over for a chat. Y'all made my day. โค๏ธ
๐ฏ The Splintered Spindle Release
The Splintered Spindle: Grimm Tales of Mystery and Malice releases October 13!
This collection brings together fairy tale retellings with mystery, murder, secrets, and a spooky autumn atmosphere. These are not quite the Grimm fairy tales you remember from childhood. They're darker, twistier, and definitely more mysterious.
