Good morning ,
I hope your are enjoying the beginnings of summer. Whatever you do, do try and give yourself some time to take in the trees and the flowers. We know that physical exercise is good for mental health and that spending time with nature can also help lift our spirits.
Thank you to everyone who applied to join our Group Supervision scheme. We were 300% oversubscribed and we now have a waiting list of 15 people. We are aiming to open up a second group next month so if you have applied look out for update emails. You can still join the waiting list.
We are currently running a series of webinars on positive psychology. If you are looking for ways of using Positive Psychology in CBT I have done a blog post covering that very topic.
One of the most positive feelings that counsellors can experience is the satisfaction of seeing and client completing therapy and moving on to live their life in better psychological shape. Yet managing the end of therapy can be full of pitfalls: when to end? how to end? separation anxiety? What do you do when a client wants to continue and yet they are no longer in need of therapy? How do we manage relapse prevention? Are there benefits in follow-up sessions? All these issue are addressed in a practical way in our new workshop Ending Therapy and Managing Relapse Prevention. You can still get the Early Bird ticket for this event (see below).
I will leave you with our full list of webinars for June and July, plus the new discount code giving 10% off all webinars; but for now, I'm off to sit in the garden and plan some walks.
