Sit Back and Listen

I was pulling into the driveway the other day when a great song came on the radio. It was one I hadn't heard in a while, but as soon as I heard the first note, I locked in and sang along to every lyric.

I pulled into the garage but didn't even consider getting out of the car. I put the car in park, left the engine running, and listened. I can't remember what memories came rushing back, but I'm sure there were plenty.

Songs can remind you of people, places, and memorable moments from your past. The lyrics emerge from some dark recess of your mind to the tip of your tongue as you sing along like you were a backup singer in the band.
