Sorry for the delay in the newsletter, normally I send this on Thursdays, but I've been going through a lot of mental health struggles lately. In full transparency, I haven't been able to write in the past few months, and my depression has stomped me pretty hard. I've been down, but I'm nothing if not persistent. I'm not out, just struggling. And writing for me has been therapeutic, so I need to refind my joy and get back to writing the next book!
Thank you to everyone who has sent me good vibes and reached out to let me know that they enjoy my books and can't wait for the next one. Every review, and adding Taking Medusa on the TBR gives me a boost to keep going even when it's hard.
I've been taking steps to connect with fellow book nerds in person, as part of my process of reigniting my motivation and push through the mental hurdles I'm facing. I asked her how she was able to be in both and it's because she has a contract with a distributor that has a deal with Amazon to be able to do both, which is pretty awesome and I should look into what that would look like to do the same, but I like the control of my distribution, so I'm still looking into my options.
