Hi loves!
I'm in the process of moving to California! Lots of packing, organizing, selling and downsizing for a smaller place. But the great thing about the move in my opinion is that with downsizing comes the clarity of necessity that will declutter and reduce the time of trying to clean up things that don't have a place. I believe that this money will be a fresh start that helps me not be so overwhelmed and this have even more time for writing the stories I love.
Including, continuing book three of my Medusa retelling. I'm about 33% of the way through writing it, and I'm rededicating myself to finish it before the end of the year. I want to have it be available the next time I join Hot and Steamy 2027!!
Which, SUPRIse!!! I got accepted as a signing author for.
I'm also going to look into local California book events to see if I can join some on my new home base of the LA area.
Wish me luck on the move and if you haven't checked out my books already, please do visit my website www.steviemarie.com

The charity anthology for my short story with Hot and Steamy 26, The Alien's Chosen is now available! It released on April 9th and can be read immediately while also helping to support the Humane Society!
You can check out it out here:
If you're new here, then you might be wondering why it says Sky Robert, instead of S.M. McCoy. That's because I write my alien romances under Sky Robert, and my romantasy paranormal books under S.M. McCoy. The separation of names is so that readers can set expectations for what they will get when they read a Sky Robert book, spicy alien romances with world building adventures. Standalone fated mates in an interconnected universe.
While my S.M. McCoy books are usually a slower burn fantasy adventure romance usually trilogies, but I do plan on releasing some standalone stories in the future.
My Medusa retelling is available WIDE now, meaning you can read it on Kobo Plus! Or grab it directly from me to help support the third installment! I'm still saving up money to afford a custom cover for book three!

Hi, I'm Stevie. I'm a mom of two kiddos, and I write fantasy romance, and alien romances. I started with writing a YA vampire romance, and I retired the 3-book series because it wasn't the same kind of style as the rest of my books, and I didn't want those books to be the first impression readers got of my writing. I also wrote a sci-fi fantasy mash up Kingdom of Acatalec, got a traditional contract book deal, but it flopped because I wasn't and still am not that great at marketing things without more control over what I can do with my books. I received my book rights back and will relaunch that book with my indie control after I finish my Medusa Retelling Series.
The Dark Gods Rising is mythology reimagined if you are like me and believe that the "monsters" of myth and legend were hunted by Greek gods because they were different, because they were a threat to their power and rule. Perhaps, the monsters weren't the bad guys after all, and Medusa wasn't the villain myth made her out to be. There is always more than one side to every story.
Dive into a slow-burn romance, fast-paced fantasy adventure with all the political mechanisms of Greek Myth, and the what-ifs from a different point of view.
