Welcome to the fantastical side of romance with magic and myth, ,
I'm moving, if you aren't on my Sky Robert Newsletter, this might be new news for you, but because of the move, I've been super busy with all the logistics of that. Meaning, I haven't had much time to write. But rest assured, a delay in writing doesn't mean the end of writing.
I still have every intention of writing book three Reaping Olympus and having it ready for ARC readers in the first quarter of 2025. I've been wrapping up my narration projects before the move because changing studio spaces mid-project makes for difficult editing, so I finished up my recording of two audiobooks I was working on for fellow indie authors, and now I'm wrapping up edits for those projects. This gets all of my obligations to other people off my plate before moving, and now I can focus on the move and my writing, back to the world of Medusa!
I'll keep this newsletter short, I missed our usual Thursday, because I've been swamped, but I'll share a little Author update for everyone.
November is usually my worst month of the year in terms of readership, and I can see why. I've barely had much time to read more than 1 book this month. I still read at nighttime before bed, which is a bad habit because it ALWAYS ends up with me getting less sleep, but I haven't had much time for reading outside of that.
Either way, today's transparent indie stats are 323 pages read of Breaking Fate in Kindle Unlimited, and 1,947 pages read in Taking Medusa and we are half way through the month. Perhaps those pages read from Taking Medusa will flow over into reading book two the later half of the month. I've had 2 people buy Taking Medusa, and 1 person buy Breaking Fate instead of reading through Kindle Unlimited.
That's 40% Kindle Unlimited Reads, 30% paperbacks, and 30% e-books! Mid-way through November.
We finally reached 100 ratings on Taking Medusa this month! and we are 9 ratings away from reaching 50 on Breaking Fate on Goodreads!
And I have 1 confirmed author event I'll be attending in 2025 the Myths and Mortals Ball! You can check out their Instagram here, There will be a Black Friday sale on Nov 29th where the tickets will be 50% off for one day, so I'd definitely snag that, especially if you're in Grand Rapids, MI in May 2025. No, I don't live in MI, nor is that where I'm moving to, but I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to have fun at a myths and legends author ball! It sounded so fun! https://www.instagram.com/p/DCU2DSKS9K5/
Have you checked out the Dark Gods Rising Series?! If you've already read and enjoyed the books, please take a moment to share your thoughts with fellow readers! It means a lot to me, and often when I feel a bit down in my author journey I like to remind myself why I share my stories by reading from the readers who loved my books. https://books.steviemarie.com/breakingfate

Author Updates/Writing Progress!
I'm wrapping up recording for a fantasy adventure for Alyssa Rose, and I've been preparing materials for in-person author events, including table runners and banners. I'm currently looking into potential bookish events to attend for 2025-2026. If there is one that you would love to see me attend, let me know.
Breaking Fate IS LIVE available in KU and Audible!
What am I working on now?
Book Three of Dark Gods Rising! Reaping Olympus! Progress 5K/90K = 5%
Goblin's Treasure! Progress 16K/90k = 17%
Goblin's Treasure, a standalone Labyrinth dark fantasy romance retelling. I know, I know... some of you are probably like, WHA? You need to be writing book three Reaping Olympus. And I am, but as you'll soon find out about me, is that I usually hop around books until one gets finished. Breaking Fate gave me a huge book hangover, and I'll be honest, I need a mental reprieve of writing something without the pressure of making sure the book is better than the previous books. Sooooo, I'm writing this one, with no expectations other than writing a fun, magical, romantically dark adventure.
Meaning, I think we're due for reimagining the Labyrinth and perhaps viewing the goblins a bit differently. Are you ready to join the Goblin Kingdom with your book bestie? What if your book date with your best friend turns into a nightmare of being sucked into the Goblin Kingdom, and being eaten alive by gremlins that look like cute little bunnies? What if Goblin Kingdom is so dark because of an ancient curse on the land and you may not be a chosen one, but your heart has certainly chosen a handsomely twisted goblin to uncover the secrets of the goblin's past and find what was stolen from you? Then maybe you won't mind if you became the Goblin's Treasure?
If you would like to help support future books, and this series, you can grab my newest release Breaking Fate on Amazon here or read in Kindle Unlimited! https://books.steviemarie.com/breakingfate

Getting too much email? Reply back to this email with "Monthly" in the message and I'll move you over to my once a month letter usually sent out around the 15th of the month.
Please do not click that SPAM button. I'm a small indie author, even 1 single spam complaint out of my small 3,000 sized list of subscribers sends my newsletter OVER the "green" zone of below .01%. Anything over this percentage causes other readers who want to hear from me to potentially not see my emails as it hurts deliverability to their inboxes.
You are on my email list because you opted in either by grabbing my free book, finding me on the interwebs, or by joining a book giveaway geared towards meeting new authors such as myself. If you found yourself here by any other means, you're welcome to unsubscribe at anytime. I do not go around adding emails all willy nilly. I'm a one-person show here, and can't afford to have people on my list that don't want to be here. I follow all guidelines and laws regarding newsletters.
Disclaimer: sometimes my links have affiliate tags associated with them, this in no way influences who I decide to share with you on my newsletter, nor does it impact your experience with discovering new books. If anything, any affiliate links used help authors, including myself, subsidize the costs associated with staying in business. For instance, using a tagged link helps us see whether someone found our books from our own marketing efforts or through some other means, also with Amazon specifically, that puts a couple extra pennies from grabbing one of our books back to the author from the big company. More of your money goes to the author, and your costs remain the same. My affiliate links have regularly covered the cost of maintaining this newsletter. So, if anything, click on a link for my books, and even if you are not buying my book, feel free to go about your usual Amazon shopping to help support my books through stuff you would normally buy anyways. Stick it to "the man" and support indie authors while you do it. This has been a PSA announcement from yours truly. Sky
