Indie Launch Stats of Her Alien Delegate!

Hi , welcome back to my author newsletter with alien peens, monsters, magic, and the readers who love them!

Her Alien Delegate was launched August 26th, so it's been two months since launch! And with time, comes DATA, and STATS!

This may not be your jam, but I think it's fun to track my progress as an indie author. I got suckered into getting Authorbase, a Booksprout product, that tracks book sales and pages read all in one place. No, I'm not affiliate marketing the product. But, I will share with some data obtained from it.

Last month, more than half my royalties came from Her Alien Delegate alone, while the rest of my books together formed the other half.

Her Alien Delegate did 25 percent better than Her Alien Warrior's 30-day launch, which was my previously best launch. Her Alien Delegate has officially become by best launched book so far with 138 readers who grabbed the e-book, and currently 95,000+ pages read in Kindle Unlimited, which is around 380 readers, if I divide the pages by the 250 pages of the book.

It might not be a lot of readers for some indie authors, and to some that might seem like a bunch! It all depends on where an author is in their journey.

But, that's around 518 readers for Her Alien Delegate in the last couple of months, and I consider that a huge success for me! I was worried that writing a reverse harem when that wasn't typical of my other alien romances, would result in less of my regular readers deciding to dig in. I was wrong, or perhaps, the new readership made up for it.

The book currently sits at 57 ratings on Amazon with a 4.4 average, and consistently stays around the 100k rankings in the kindle store, or #1576 in Science Fiction Romance. I'm not top ranks, but it's doing better than the rest of my books!

I'm very pleased with the results of Her Alien Delegate, and I hope to see it continue to grow in readership and hopefully see some new eyeballs on my other books too!

For those of you who haven't check out Her Alien Delegate yet, it's a spicy alien romance with three sexy tentacle peened aliens who mate with a shy but strong human mate named Evie!

The unGor are a fun species that have delegations, or mating groups with a primary female mate that the males share responsibility for her happiness, but that isn't to say that the men ignore each other, they bond together and though their focus is the female mate in the beginning, they form a strong brotherhood, and also seek out each other's happiness in what will grow with time to be a very balanced relationship among all mates.

For Her Alien Delegate, the narrative focuses on the two main mates that form the first strong bond, as first mate. I plan on writing a future book where the next story will include all pov's from every mate when they reach the planet AsunGor. The book is a complete story, the plot gets wrapped up, and it is standalone, but a life doesn't just have one story, and so there is an opportunity to explore the relationships more when it is tested on a different planet.

One of my goals this year is to get Her Alien Insurgent up to 50 ratings/reviews on Amazon! It's got 40 ratings on Amazon now, and 78 ratings on Goodreads! With a 4.7 average rating!

The Estreld males have resin-like jewels on their body, including a mating pouch that forms to fit their fated mates! They grow for their shared pleasure, and who wouldn't want a fated mate that gives as well as they receive?

They are both trapped in espionage on planet Krelis, filled with warrior hive mind species controlled by a malevolent queen. Can they prevent a war between planets, together?

Thank you for being part of my author journey and supporting my human-made worlds.

xoxo

All of my books are standalone alien romances, each a separate complete romance, read in any order, and with their interconnected plots, each book layers and you find out more about the world the more you read. Have questions from one book? Read another one, and you're sure to find more answers, and perhaps more questions as the universe unravels. That's what I love about sci-fi adventures set in the same universe, there's so much room to play!

Happy Reading and Thank you for being part of my author journey,

xoxo
