Welcome to the smuttier side of romance books with alien peens and the mates that love them.
Because I've been running for real lately! Yush, I'm getting back into running, and training for a marathon. I committed to it and already bought my expensive entry bib as incentive to stick with the training.
Don't worry, I'm not one of those crazy people who decides to do a marathon and then expects to complete one without adequate amount of time and training. I scheduled my marathon for next year. For those of you who may not know. A marathon is 26.2 miles done within 6 hours.
The one I signed up for starts at 6 am in the morning and goes until 1 pm, so my goal is get trained up to doing a pace of 4.5 miles an hour, or a 12mph pace.
This is more about endurance, and building up how long I can keep a steady jog for. At the moment, I can jog a 10-minute mile straight then I'm huffing for air, then walking for 5 minutes then running a 10mph then walking again. An interval of 10-5-10 (during that 5 min I'm around 20mph pace). I did 40 minutes on my first bout of running for training, and got 2.5 miles in that time. Which equates to a 16mph pace, and still I'm not ready for doing that 10 times over to complete a full marathon (which would take 7 hours at that pace), yet. But I'll get there.
My true goal is to do the whole thing in under 5 hours, which is around a 12 mph pacing average.
You're probably wondering, WHY am I telling you all this? I signed up for an author newsletter, what does this have to do with alien peens?
Well, I'm the author of said alien peens, and I consider you all my book buddies! I've been getting more frequent migraines and I'm trying to find a way to be healthier and see how much overall healthier choices connects with having less problems with constant daily pain management. The healthier I become and the less migraines I get the more words I can put to the keyboard and the sooner you all can get the next alien romance!
Speaking of which, I'm working on my stand alone alien romance for an anthology coming out in December, and...
I was wondering if perhaps you would prefer I add a holiday theme to the story?
Like our human lead brings Christmas traditions to the aliens? Or perhaps, I include an alien holiday equivalent, not Christmas, but alien holiday that Trillume celebrates?
