It's that time of year when you start to have deep thoughts about life, and evaluating the past year to then seek goals about the year to come.
During this reflection, I've discovered that there are some parallels between my launching the book Jewel of the Alien Bandit and life events! Events that aren't just about me.
I was actually like, Wow, I guess I was writing something more than alien porn. Don't get it twisted, my main goal for this first book, was to just have a fun universe to be able to explore societal norms, and shake them up, while creating smutty raunchy sex scenes, because duh, FUN!
But, I discovered there were these parallels of the main character Luan, being in a position of "supposed" power, and yet on a planet used to being isolated from the outside "offworlders". Sound like the pandemic much?
She seeks out her mate, and escapes her planet, stowing away on his ship. The need to escape both isolation of her planet, and her duties as future leader. Most of the troubles she finds herself in are self inflicted, and the LARGE looming shadow that isn't, well, why not take the burden of it all?
Doesn't isolation do that to a person?
I think, what I'm trying to say is it's a bit cathartic to write about escaping on a new and wonderous adventure full of danger, new worlds, and hot alien sex.

I enjoyed the scene, and my only complaint is that there wasn't more! But, there IS more, just I find it slightly inconvenient to return a Kindle Unlimited book and then grab the next one in the series instead of just continuing to read in the same book.... MAYYYYYYBE, I can convince Beatrix to have a boxset of the whole Alien Impregnation series, so I can just read them all in one Kindle Unlimited read. Either way, she's a great steamy alien romance writer, enjoy!
Side note: As I've continued reading the 9 installments are for different short sexy scenes, only 2 of the installments are for the Impregnated by the Alien Monster. Also, please be aware this sexy series is short. I felt a bit disappointed at the shortness of it, but the fact that I was disappointed means I was enjoying it, and wanted more.
Now! On to my EXCITEMENT! OMG! I can't tell you how excited I am for this collection! No, I am not in this collection, but I hope to be in a collection like this someday in the future! It has all my FAVORITE ALIEN ROMANCE AUTHORS!

“He’s chosen her, I’m so jealous.”
I grumbled. “He’s just an insect.”
She giggled. “No, not him. Loric. He’s chosen Luan to be his mate this cycle.”
“Yes, I already knew that.” He’d told me as much when we spoke, and then I looked up to see who he was standing in front of. My silver beauty.
Luan.
Of course we’d be going after the same mate. Mate, that word felt strange to say, but right when I referred to her. So what if this ridiculous ceremony was meant to help the estrelds repopulate their species; while I was here… she was mine. What she did when I was gone, was her business, but even that thought irritated me.
Her bedding with that krelis, or even my frenemy Loric was out of the question.
Loric was glowing an obnoxious blue, and he seemed to pulse in her presence, making me grind my teeth watching him. Her cheeks were blushing a sweet pink, and it was for... a man that wasn’t me.
She removed a ring from her thumb, and placed it on his finger as she bit down on her lower lip.
They may have won the round, but the games weren’t over yet, and I had plenty of tarnpul to join the dance.
“Aren’t they perfect?” The girl was still clinging to my arm.
Then the host chimed in, “It looks like this cycle’s moon ceremony is shaping up to be one for the history books. May the moon bless us all. For every offering you will have the opportunity for one on one time before the dance, so hand out those tarnpuls quickly!”
“Oh, excuse me.” The girl on my arm released me, but left behind a necklace she tied around my wrist. “See you soon.” Her curvy hips swayed through the crowd, and I didn’t have much time to introduce myself.
“So this is Luan,” I interrupted Loric’s moment. I was a shitty wingman, not that I wanted to cock block him specifically, just from her. “You are more fierce than the rays of a Trillus sun. May the moons give many blessings upon your mating.” I took her hand into my own and bent down to kiss her fingers, carefully slipping off one of her rings as I withdrew. When I lifted my gaze there was that fire in her silver eyes once more.
“I have not agreed to mate with anyone yet,” she objected, and I smiled back at her, pleased to hear that.
“My apologies for assuming.” I gave Loric an apologetic shrug that he struck out despite being given one of her offerings. While their attention was on my shoulders, I pocketed the ring that would guarantee me a one on one meeting with Luan.
