Check out Ruarc by Jennifer Julie Miller

Both authors have proven time and again how well they write an alien romance, and I love to highlight them when a new book is launched! You can tell by the covers alone that Robin's book Enticed by the Alien Chef is more of a light-hearted romance, while Jennifer's Ruarc is more of a darker intense romance. I love both the styles as sometimes I'm in the mood for more of an intense read and sometimes I like reading something more fluffy, both with an out of this world twist!

As for my own alien romances, I'd say it's more of a mix of the two styles. I have light-hearted moments, but also some more darker themes as well. I like the balance that my alien universe provides.

For new readers to my stand-alone spicy alien romances, it may take a few chapters to get sucked in because of the "otherness" factor of not really knowing what is going on. This might make any reader think that the books aren't standalone and that they are "missing" something at first.

But rest assured, each book is stand-alone, and that confusion is simply because the books are in first person POV and you know as much as the character does at the time, or what the character deems relevant at the time. It's a writing style preference not to have everything explained.

However, I do provide a glossary for those that prefer to have more context, but the books are fun to read even if you go into with the mindset of a human being immersed in something alien and other. The MMC POVs don't always explain all the details of their culture all at once, and everything in the books is layered.

The more you read in the universe the more you will understand, and the more questions you'll have. Typical of any life experiences.

Read one, read them all, most readers fall in love with the universe and are excited for the plot twists, the interwoven stories, and the spicy love as it unfolds!

All of my books are standalone alien romances, each a separate complete romance, read in any order, and with their interconnected plots, each book layers and you find out more about the world the more you read. Have questions from one book? Read another one, and you're sure to find more answers, and perhaps more questions as the universe unravels. That's what I love about sci-fi adventures set in the same universe, there's so much room to play!

Happy Reading and Thank you for being part of my author journey,

xoxo
