8 more days until Her Alien Starbreaker's Relaunch! Potentially leaving KU!

Hi , welcome back to my author newsletter with alien peens, monsters, magic, and the readers who love them!

COUNTDOWN 8 DAYS until LAUNCH!

I'm excited to say Her Alien Starbreaker is almost here! Grab it before anyone else through my author store, I'm going to start transitioning my books to being wide, and having all my books available in my Author Store, due to the drop in readership through Kindle Unlimited.

Commander Yueril is a trill commander send on a suicide mission to protect the galaxy from an invasive species when he comes upon a runaway slave on an outlaw planet Delta Fal who would do anything to keep her, even go up against a powerful outlaw, Lord Zorn.

Her Alien Starbreaker is now being set up for a relaunch on its own, using the beautiful customer artwork of Deborah @Debanne_Art with an added first chapter, and extended ending!

Her Alien Starbreaker is available for preorder in my author store including extra scenes not included in the anthology release. https://payhip.com/b/w6jvg

You can preorder directly from my author store, and get it delivered automatically when released before anywhere else on April 26th 2025. Best part about grabbing books direct from Author, it means you own your own copy of the book, meaning you can upload your book to whatever platform you wish, from Amazon, Apple, to Kobo. It's yours to read however you want.

Looking into other options outside of Kindle Unlimited:

I've seen a steady decline in pages read in KU that has shown me that it may be in my best author interests to expand my indie basket to stay in business. In order to stay in KU, I would like to see that on average of at least 5 new readers are reading in KU per book per month, which is around 2,000 pages read per book and only around $8 a book in KU revenue each month.

April of last year, I had around 3,000 pages read in my lowest read book Jewel of the Alien Bandit. This month I had around 540 pages read in Jewel of the Alien Bandit and 1 single page read on Her Alien Insurgent. I had a total of 3000 KU pages read across ALL 5 of my books this month in KU. And only 500 pages read between my Taking Medusa and Breaking Fate Greek Mythology Retelling.

That means this month I've made a total of $2.00 in KU readthrough in my Taking Medusa Retelling, and around $13.00 in KU readthrough across all of my alien romances. KU is bringing in $15 this month, and that means I would only need 7 new readers a month from OTHER platforms like Kobo Plus, Apple, or even my own author store to make the switch to wide and have it be worth it.

If you are a KU reader and want to support me staying in Kindle Unlimited, you can check out my books here: https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B0BNXSFHZ4/allbooks

Or read my Taking Medusa Series from my penname S.M. McCoy here currently still available in KU: https://books.steviemarie.com/takingmedusa

You can also support my books by grabbing my books directly, either a signed book trophy for your shelves, or grab my two books available wide at the moment: https://payhip.com/brokenbookspublishing

Discover all books by Sky Robert:

1) Jewel of the Alien Bandit 2) Her Alien Exchange 3) Her Alien Prince 4) Her Alien Savior 5) Her Alien Warrior 6) Her Alien Insurgent 7) Her Alien Starbreaker 8) TKManAteHer -Short Erotic Terminator Sex Bot Romance

Books by S.M. McCoy

1) Taking Medusa 2) Breaking Fate 3) Kingdom of Acatalec has been pulled for future relaunch

All of my books are standalone alien romances, each a separate complete romance, read in any order, and with their interconnected plots, each book layers and you find out more about the world the more you read. Have questions from one book? Read another one, and you're sure to find more answers, and perhaps more questions as the universe unravels. That's what I love about sci-fi adventures set in the same universe, there's so much room to play!
