I was just minding my own business, doing the mom thang, and WHAM! On my way to dropping my kiddo off at therapy, he was just acting so lethargic, and I took him home. He's normally got lots of energy, and he just went straight to the couch and passed out. He is down with the rona, Covid, for those who don't use the slang.
Everyone else in the family is luckily negative, and since his bio mom tested positive as well, she took him for the quarantine period. But, I still have to keep the other kiddo and myself at home to be on the safe side to make sure we don't accidentally spread it around even though we have no symptoms. I'll test again tomorrow, but this would certainly put a damper on Easter plans if things go sideways.
I'm still plugging away at Her Alien Insurgent, and Her Alien Savior... AND well, I got a bit inspired and have been tinkering around with a side alien project a standalone outside the Trillume Universe... and sometimes I like to take a break and do fun little side projects.

Why? Because Print on Demand takes time to get its wheels up and running. If you purchased the book today, it would still arrive at your doorstep at the same time, or even a few days give or take, as the release of the ebook. Weird, right?
I learned my lesson from book one on that one. But, fear not, even if you grabbed the book later, it won't always take a month to arrive. The zon actually prints a few books of POD in their warehouse for the chance that someone purchases it, and it makes the shipping a lot quicker in the future. But that first launch takes a month. So, the that is why I have it posted a month ahead of time!
