Hello! It's November, which means I'm already missing October T-T
Some news for you all! I've got the cover for Fyre Fly, Book 2 of Friendly Fyre, and I'm excited to share it! Without further ado:
Ta da! Isn't she gorgeous? Perfect timing, too, because I just heard back from Podium that my voice actor for the books has been selected, and they'll be starting to record soon.
Pre-order isn't up for Fyre Fly, yet, but it will be soon! I'm currently planning to publish it mid-January. I'm also about 10 chapters into drafting the last book of the trilogy: Wild Fyre. Man, these last three years have passed in a blur.
For those keeping track, since 2023:
- 8 books completed (~1,035,000 words)
- 3 books being drafting (~75,000/400,000 words)
- 3 books outlined (0/400,000 words)
If I'm super super fast and finish one of those three works-in-progress by the end of the year, I might even be able to finish the entirety of the NPSeeds universe by the end of 2026. Now that would be something!
Speaking of the other NPSeeds books, as a reminder the third Glass Kanin book will be publishing on the 17th of this month! Book 1 will be free, and book 2 will be $0.99 during that first week as well.
Look at our little glass bottle, all grown up!
I just sent Kanin Fyre, the crossover between Kanin and Fyre (obviously, I guess) off to my beta readers this week. Can't wait to see what they think of these two sharing a book together! I know I'm excited to read their reactions.
Apart from all these books I'll be publishing in the next couple months, the only thing else I really have to mention is a reminder that I'll be at Daku Con next weekend. They stuck me waaaay back into a corner so the event will probably be a bust lol. But hey, if you're in the area, come say hi!
That yellow table in the top right? That's me, that's my booth. I guess every con can't be a banger! Ha ha
That's all I've got for you this time. Thanks for reading!
(No Boba picture this week: Please accept my jack-o-lantern as tax instead)
Best,
~Kia
