Hey ,
I'll make this NL short, since I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed lately. I'm going to admit my mental health has not been the best, and as weird as it may seem, that stems from not having as much time to focus on writing. And also, a big factor in my mood writing.
Yes, writing for me is my mental health medication so to speak. If I get bogged down with all the other things that go into being an authorprenuer, wearing all the hats, being a mom, and well, life, then sometimes the only writing I can get done is enjoying this NL with you all. And then I get cranky, and depressed because there are just so many stories that help process emotions bottled up inside of me.
I'm not saying that the events of my books are "based" in real life, but the emotions that can be felt in those actions and events often times are. Whether that's the darkness of my depression transmorphed into murder and betrayal, or the happiness I feel when I hold my daughter when she's napping morphed into the longing and need of a character seeking their goals.
So, because of my mood, I am in dire need of a super dark story to write and that means I must take a break from my current work in progress of Acatalec Chosen, because that story just isn't meant to be as dark as my emotions need to vent with.
That being said, I'd love to have your opinion on a this or that for this side project. They are both technically the same universe, it's just a matter of which perspective I write for. So, reply back to this email with your THIS or THAT:

That is all for now, Thank you for being part of my author tribe and joining me on my journey. I appreciate you! Check out some indies while you stew in wait for the next installment of Kingdom of Acatalec, and if you truly want to read something I've written in the meantime, I also write smutty alien romances under the pen name Sky Robert. I've released 3 books and almost a 4th for these alien romances since releasing Kingdom of Acatalec. Sooo, yes... you can totally blame my mood writing for why you've had to wait longer for book two, because moods, I have still been writing quite a lot, and TECHNICALLY speaking, I wrote Acatalec Chosen to completion, THEN deleted it, then wrote a second version that is completed... but I just haven't gone back to it to edit.
Bless your souls for being patient, you can also blame my star sign Virgo for the perfectionism that paralyzes progress from time to time.
