I've been going through a lot lately. I'm working on a story for a charity anthology with Hot & Steamy in the PNW. It will be an alien bride story by my pen name Sky Robert.
Some of you may be sad to see that I've been working more on my alien romances than on my fantasy romances. I haven't given up on fantasy romance, it's just that I get more motivation to write the aliens in my brain due to having more interest from readers in those books versus my fantasy romances.
I'm pretty happy to see that I've had my best October sales, due to my latest alien romance launch of Her Alien Delegate, a reverse harem fated mates romance. And I've seen a considerable drop in interest in my Medusa story.
In fact, in the last 90 days, I've sold 5 ebooks for Medusa. Average around 1 new review/rating a month. While my fantasy romances have kind of bobbed around in the reading shallows, my alien romances have had over 200+ ebooks sold in the last 90 days, keeping consistent interest every month.
I hate that it influences me, but really, having people read my books, gets me excited to write the next one.
Which is why, I've made Taking Medusa my READER MAGNET, FREESIES to everyone on my newsletter.
If you enjoy the book, you can support it by grabbing an official copy from Amazon, but you're also welcome to read it, enjoy it, and share it, review it, and help promote it so that more people can enjoy it! Grab book two and support the creation of book three!
If you're one of those 346 people waiting to get started on reading it, dig it out of your Kindle/e-reader, and give it a try! Over 80% of the readers who have tried it out, loved it, and I hope you love it too!

Hi, I'm Stevie. I'm a mom of two kiddos, and I write fantasy romance, and alien romances. I started with writing a YA vampire romance, and I retired the 3-book series because it wasn't the same kind of style as the rest of my books, and I didn't want those books to be the first impression readers got of my writing. I also wrote a sci-fi fantasy mash up Kingdom of Acatalec, got a traditional contract book deal, but it flopped because I wasn't and still am not that great at marketing things without more control over what I can do with my books. I received my book rights back and will relaunch that book with my indie control after I finish my Medusa Retelling Series.
The Dark Gods Rising is mythology reimagined if you are like me and believe that the "monsters" of myth and legend were hunted by Greek gods because they were different, because they were a threat to their power and rule. Perhaps, the monsters weren't the bad guys after all, and Medusa wasn't the villain myth made her out to be. There is always more than one side to every story.
Dive into a slow-burn romance, fast-paced fantasy adventure with all the political mechanisms of Greek Myth, and the what-ifs from a different point of view.
